Tokyo Autumn Ride, 22. and 23. of October, 2005

Bike trip from Tokyo pass Fuji to Sumata.
This time t I got Moto Guzzi Breva 1100 from Fukuda Motors.
First day there was a little rain. Temperature was between 7 and 24. And no photos of that period:-)
But as the weather got better, we got lost of photos.
Second day was the most beautiful, and finally mountain Fuji was visible.

Nokia 6630 3gp video clip in Real Player: Start of the tour.

This is the Guzzi I got this time, Breva 1100.

Time wipe the raind drops out of the saddle, and wishing better weather...

close the zip...

... and hit the road.

See the 3gp video. Link is above.

The meeting point was 80 km west from Tokyo, Ashigara Parking area at Tomei highway.

Lots of the curly roads took us through small villages and mountain forrests.

Is it only in my eye again: a different Guzzi and the better I like it the more I drive it.

First impresson to my old eye was very strong design, but isn't it rather beautiful after all:-)

Most of the team is here.

The destination Onsen village, Hot Spring village.

It was a trip of 250 km.

In a Tatami room ou sleep on a mattress, Futon. The difference to a bed is that it doesn't hurt to drop off.

Can you see the suspension bridge down there? There we go...

Most of the roads looked like this. 1st gear mainly, sometimes 2nd, harly never you could use the 3rd gear.

The bridge.

Dinner and breakfast was part of the 9800 JPY fee.

Local attraction was a Steam Engine train. Here we wait for it coming.

Only one moment to catch or miss. Here it comes.

Here it goes...

Lunch before hitting the highway and the last part of the trip to home.

On the way back I stopped at Fujikawa service area. Just because of the beautiful view.

Back to Fukuda Motors, Tokyo. The return trip made 330 km.
