Miura peninsula, 25. March 2006

70km from Setagaya-ku to Miura city. Total 143km. 1h 15 minutes one way.

the trip started at home at 8:50.

Daisan Keihin, the most familiar highway.

This is where were are now. Just 50km South-West of Tokyo. 20km to go to the south, to MiUra, 三浦

Best and last, perhaps also the only, service area close to the end of Yokohama-Yokosuka highway. Yokosuka Service Area.

If this is not BMW then what? Mikko, apua!

This is definitely BMW, but how come, it is the same model as the other one. Between the shaft driven boxers Ballabio, Moto Guzzi.

Hit the road again. After the highway the last 20 km is a beautiful cost side road.

The second oldest light house in Japan

Bird watching

Many hobbies were at present. Fishing, canooing, diving,...

Finally a fish?

Unfortunately only some seaweed. Anyway, who would expext fish to eat at noon time. It is just to have good time at sea side for those who don't ride a motor bike.

Another hobby: let's make our own aquarium. I like this, this hobby is not dependant of the high price gears, and you still learn.

Miura citu Marina

Gust guess how fresh and delicious tuna fish is in Miura :-)

At least in this restaurant the 3 or 4 generations of family made great lunch. Mika, let's come here:-)

Another good looking sushi restaurant. Just the second street from the main one.

...time to go home. Back home it was 143km and it was only 3pm.

Google satellite pictures/maps. Coordinates point the location to the center of the map.
